This 3 Bedded EBD Children's Home has recently been refurbished to a very high standard and need a manger that aims to create an outstanding and positive environment for vulnerable young children in their care and firmly believe that the team are central to helping achieve this.The ideal candidate must have the following:Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare Or Level 3 and already working towards the Level 5 DiplomaA minimum of 1-year experience as a manager/deputy in residential children's care.Understanding of a variety of different therapeutic models.Experience dealing with Children dealing with emotional behavioural and learning disabilities.Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to delegate effectively.An ability to work both under own initiative and as part of a management team and overall team whilst maintaining professional relationship boundaries with non-management staff.Detailed understanding of Childrens Act 1989, Care Standards Act 2000, Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and other relevant legislation.Be creative and able to use your own initiative and manage in challenging situations.Full UK Driving Licence with access to your own transport.Please send an updated CV to be considered for this Registered Managers vacancy and we will be in touch ONLY with shortlisted applicants asap as they are looking for someone to start ASAP before the current manager leaves for maternity.ProSkillz Recruitment LTD is acting as an Employment Agency for this permanent post, so all applicants are interviewed before meeting with clients for 2nd stage interviews.
