Senior Services Engineer

About the Company: Based in ROI Role open to anyone on the Island of Ireland Our client, one of the top 10 technology companies with an impressive client portfolio, currently seeks a Senior IT Service Engineer to join their growing team. Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, you will work remotely, hybrid or onsite in one of their 3 offices in Ireland, whichever you prefer. As a Senior (L3) Engineer, you will report directly to the CTO and have the opportunity to expand your knowledge in a company that values your input. The Service Engineering team is small and growing, as their business continues to expand in both Ireland and the UK. As a Microsoft and Cisco Gold Partner, our client seeks a talented, skilled Senior Engineer with a minimum of 4+ years' experience. About the Role: Using your individual flair for dealing with people, building relationships with customers will be key to success. You will solve IT issues and enjoy the variety of the job. You will be able to work autonomously and as part of a team of Service Engineers. Responsibilities: * Troubleshooting and diagnostics of a variety of hardware and systems with the full support of an experienced team. * Deliver support on issues of varying complexity to keep it interesting! * Identification of improvement projects and reporting back to Account Managers. Experience required: * 4+ years experience in a similar role required. * Excellent technical knowledge of server hardware and MS Operating systems (desktop and servers) and applications such as Exchange, RDS, SQL, AD, SCCM * MCSA certification & CCNA certification are both an advantage * Excellent knowledge of Hyper-V / similar * Experience of Office 365 migrations is an advantage * Professional experience in the IT industry in Ireland or UK would be a distinct advantage for the role. Required Skills: Full Drivers licence (company vehicle will be provided when necessary for occasional travel to client sites), IT troubleshooting skills, ability to work autonomously and in a team. Pay range and compensation package: Salary c. €65K to €75K base+ contributory pension scheme + excellent benefits. Permanent role. Remote working / onsite / hybrid - whichever you prefer.
