Assistant Accountant (12-Month Maternity Cover) Company: Our client is a dynamic company specialising in the pharmaceutical sector. With continued expansion, they are seeking a highly capable Assistant Accountant to join their team. Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire Role Summary: As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team during a 12-month maternity cover. Your responsibilities will include managing purchase ledger processes, ensuring accurate records, and contributing to the financial stability of the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Process and maintain purchase ledger transactions. Assist with month-end close activities. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Utilise Sage 200 software for efficient financial management. Contribute to the overall success of the finance department. Requirements: Solid experience in purchase ledger management. Proficiency in Sage 200 (highly desirable). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively within a team. Excellent communication skills. Salary: £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
