Release Manager
Hybrid – Watford 3 days per week
£450pd – Outside IR35
6 month initial contract
We are seeking an experienced Release Manager to work on a large testing programme supporting a well-known, leading brand.
Some responsibilities of this Release Manager role are:
- Forward plan the release windows and cycles across a portfolio
- Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality.
- Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations.
- Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates.
- Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes.
- Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews.
It is integral you have the following experience within a Release Manager role:
- Owning release delivery of code and configuration for production environments
- Supported cutover activities from a release management perspective
- Implemented control processes, owning the handover from test to production environments
Essential Requirements:
- Ability to work with dynamic onsite and remote based teams
- Able to work onsite in Watford 3 days per week
- Full right to work in the UK
- Excellent communication skills
