As part of a dynamic team you will have responsibility for high profile community safety issues and tackling anti - social behaviour. You will safeguard vulnerable victims and communities through effective action, making a real difference in our community.  What will you be doing?  As a Community Safety Officer, you will be leading priority work areas, managing projects and delivering community safety services.     It will be your responsibility to lead co-ordinated multi-agency responses to complex cases of anti-social behaviour and situations that cause community tensions. Using your experience and knowledge, you will carry out investigations, identify support needs, co-ordinate the responses of other agencies, implement early interventions and work with partners to take enforcement action when necessary.    You will be required to work with a wide range of agencies both internally and externally; and organisations including voluntary and community groups to address community safety.  The current priorities include violence against women and girls, serious youth violence and hate crime.  You will be required to build relationships, influence a wide range of agencies and community groups to enable you to respond to community safety priorities.
