Working as a Russell Group Tutor, you will be supporting students who are looking to follow in your footsteps by studying at a top UK University. Providing academic support and boosting pre-existing knowledge, you will enable your students to maximise their potential at school.
English, Maths and Science Graduates are particularly sought after although graduates with degree specialisms in other subject areas but can demonstrate an excellent array of A-Level and GCSE grades will also be considered.
Russell Group Tutor – Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-class support to students
- Deliver 1:1 and small group intervention sessions
- Assist in the understanding of curriculum content
- Helping to explain complicated concepts to make them easier to understand
- Reviewing and analysing past exam papers
- Supporting and advising on effective revision techniques
- Providing exam preparation advice
- Assisting with Oxbridge University applications
Russell Group Tutor – Key Information
- September 2024-July 2025
- Initial one-year contracts with the option of extensions
- £18,750-£21,000 per annum [paid weekly PAYE]
- Work 39 weeks per year [13 weeks off!]
