Maintenance Labourer

Location: Sevenoaks Employer: Swanstaff Type: Full-time, Day Shift (Monday to Friday) Compensation: Weekly Pay Job Overview: Swanstaff is seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our client in Sevenoaks. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of outdoor areas, including lawns, gardens, pathways, and common spaces. This role is crucial to ensuring that our properties remain attractive and functional throughout the year. Key Responsibilities: * Perform routine grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding, and trimming to keep outdoor spaces neat and presentable. * Plant, water, fertilize, and prune trees, shrubs, and flowers to maintain healthy and vibrant landscapes. * Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of plants and lawns. * Clean and maintain outdoor furniture, fixtures, and structures to uphold safety and enhance visual appeal. * Regularly remove litter, debris, and hazardous materials from outdoor areas to ensure cleanliness and safety. * Conduct inspections of the grounds to identify issues such as erosion, drainage problems, or equipment malfunctions, and take corrective actions as needed. * Safely operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment and tools. * Work closely with property management and other staff to address maintenance needs and ensure high levels of client satisfaction. Requirements: * A valid driver's licence and access to a personal vehicle. * CSCS certification is desirable but not essential. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
