We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Reception Class Teacher who will also take on the role of EYFS Phase Lead at a Primary School in Patchway. The role is to start in January 2025 and is full-time. Key Responsibilities: Teaching and Learning: Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in the Reception class. Utilize the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to plan, implement, and assess activities. EYFS Phase Leadership: Lead the EYFS team in developing and implementing effective teaching strategies and initiatives. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities for staff. Curriculum Development: Collaborate with colleagues to create a rich and varied curriculum that promotes holistic development across all areas of learning. Parental Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child’s progress and encouraging their involvement in school activities. Assessment and Monitoring: Monitor and assess children's progress, using data to inform teaching and support individual learning journeys. Safeguarding and Wellbeing: Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures. What We Are Looking For: -          A qualified teacher with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and best practices in early childhood education. -          Previous experience in a Reception class or EYFS setting, ideally with leadership responsibilities. -          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with young children and their families. -          A proactive and innovative approach to teaching, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
