job Advert: Lifting Appointed Person with SMSTS & Crane Operator Ticket Location: Grove Farm, near Wendover (HS2 Project) Duration: 70 Weeks Start Date: Immediate Availability Preferred Our client is currently seeking an experienced Lifting Appointed Person with SMSTS and a Crane Operator Ticket for the Grove Farm HS2 project near Wendover. This is a long-term role, requiring a skilled professional with a strong commitment to safety and proven experience in lifting operations on major civil engineering projects. Key Requirements: Valid Lifting Appointed Person certification SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) Crane Operator ticket (preferred) Previous experience on large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally within HS2 or similar Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols in line with HS2 standardsResponsibilities: Oversee and manage lifting operations, ensuring safety protocols are rigorously followed Collaborate with site managers, lifting teams, and other personnel to execute project tasks efficiently Conduct risk assessments and ensure all lifting activities comply with HS2 regulations and project specificationsIf you meet the qualifications and are available for an exciting, long-term opportunity, please apply with your CV, alternatively please send your CV with site cards and references across to my email which you can find on my profile
