Are you a Surveyor with knowledge of Land or Utility Surveying? Our client offers solutions to a variety of industries involved in construction covering road, rail, nuclear, airports, garage forecourts, housing developments and drilling. The company have secured contracts with the main utility providers and are looking to recruit a Surveyor to work alongside the Operations Director. Duties: Going to client sites to survey and mark up drawings Using GPS, ground penetrating radar and CAT to ascertain location of utilities to add to maps and drawings Use AutoCAD to produce drawings Typically you will be out on site 3 days per week and in office 2 days per week When in the office you may also assist engineers with other duties Client sites are situated all over the UK and this may mean occasional overnight stays in hotels Long term there is the opportunity for development into a management position. Skills & Experience: Knowledge of Utility tracing ideal Knowledge of land surveying preferred CAD experience is preferred Must have a clean driving licence Would consider all levels of candidates including recent graduates or college leavers who have studied surveying Must have good customer facing skills Benefits: When in office hours of work will be 9 - 5 Monday to Friday When on site hours will be 8 - 4.30 20 days holiday + bank holiday + 3-5 days for Christmas shutdown Salary Negotiable depending on experience + generous subsistence allowance Candidates who require sponsorship now or in the future or who are not already resident in the UK will not be considered for this vacancy.
