An exciting opportunity for a Site Engineer to join a major highways scheme in Somerset, on a freelance basis. Our client, a leading tier one contractor is delivering the works on site, and requires a Site Engineer with a background in Civil Engineering and experience working on highways projects.
As Site Engineer you will:
- Have experience of setting out on Highways schemes
- Provide levelling and surveying across the site, checking drawings and quantities and ensuring the accuracy of calculations
- Provide as-built surveys on works completed
- Be responsible for maintaining QA records and that works are completed in accordance with ITP s
- Produce 2D and 3D site sketches
Our client requires a Site Engineer with:
- Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations
- A good understating of construction health & safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills
- HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering
- Understanding of AutoCAD
Salary/Benefits:
- £350 - £400 LTD
