In-house Legal Counsel

Your new company A rapidly growing global FinTech company specialising in payments is looking for a dynamic in-house counsel to join their legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support their expanding volume of SaaS agreements with enterprise and mid-market clients, and to help build the legal framework and infrastructure to support the rapid business growth. Your new role Supporting the sales and account management teams in all aspects of customer agreements, from developing internal strategy, NDAs, through to negotiation and closing of full SaaS agreements.Resolve client queries in contract negotiations.Assist with legal reviews and RFP responses.Ensure compliance with regulations, GDPR, and IP.Provide HR and company secretarial assistance across seven jurisdictions.Pre- and post-investment related assistance, together with CFO and external counsel, including continual maintenance of the data room.Assisting with maintenance and improvements of contract management processes and systems as well as the implementation and enforcement of contract policies.What you'll need to succeed Qualified solicitor in England and Wales, with ideally 2-4 years PQE (guidelines only) and in-house experience.Be immediately available or with a short notice period. The start date is ASAP.Experienced in managing and negotiating contracts and data privacy, preferably in FinTech/Payments.Knowledgeable in data privacy rules and company secretary filings.Skilled in customer/partner negotiations and explaining contract terms.Experience with payment schemes is a plus.What you'll get in return A fully remote position with a highly competitive day rate.
