Key Account Manager (Chilled) About Us Dale Farm is a leading dairy company supplying a wide range of consumer and food ingredients including fresh milk, cheeses, milk powders, butter & dairy spreads, and ice cream into the UK, Irish and international markets. Core to our success is our people, and we now have an exciting opportunity within our chilled team, based at our Head Office in Belfast. About the Role As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the companys nominated key accounts across the retail channel, as well as driving sustainable and profitable sales aligned to group strategy. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Channel Manager Retail, your core responsibilities will include: Taking full responsibility of nominated accounts across the retail channel to deliver budgeted net margin, volume, and turnover across each category. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key strategic accounts, leveraging partnerships to drive forward retail strategy and category plans. Supporting on commercial projects and implementing process improvements within the team remit. Managing and developing strong cross-functional relationships within Dale Farm to ensure optimum service levels to the customer. Providing accurate and timely weekly production forecasting by customer / SKU to manage stock availability. Annual budget setting by volume and price across all customers at SKU level, as well as conducting ongoing regular reviews as required by the business. Any other duties as directed by the Channel Manager within the scope of the commercial function. About You The Essential The successful candidate should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline with minimum 2 years account management experience, and who can demonstrate successfully delivering within that role. We are looking for a candidate that is effective at managing customer relationships and has experience within the food & beverages market. The candidate will have honed excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of developing close working relationships with customers and colleagues. They will be able to work effectively within a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly as and when challenges arise to find solutions and deliver against objectives. Candidates should possess a sound knowledge and competency in IT to include advanced level in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). A full, clean UK driving license is essential.
