The Seymour International team is looking for an International Newstrade Manager, to become part of our excellent account management team that provides a tailored service to publishers. The role provides an ideal first step into a full client facing role or the opportunity for an experienced account manager to build their skills in an international environment.
You will be part of a friendly, fast-paced, and creative team that successfully offers publishers a first-class service and drives their profits through the international channel. We do this by ensuring regular portfolios have the right strategies in place, but also by introducing exciting profitable opportunities that follow market trends and offer clients incremental business with their existing resources.
About the Role
The International Newstrade Manager is a highly commercial role providing clients with a dedicated point of contact for the international newstrade channel. The INM works with clients to drive profitable sales across export territories. They will do this by:
Being the clients trusted advisor providing strategic input into newstrade marketing plans that drive profit for both the client and Seymour
Delivering performance reporting and insight to support clients business decisions
Tailoring the right opportunities that drive profitable newstrade sales and maximise trade marketing investment in line with individual client commercial models
Working with clients, and the international territory team, to identify new sales/product opportunities across their portfolios.
This role would suit candidates who have experience in Account Management, Trade Marketing, Sales & Negotiation, and Strategic Planning and are looking for a role that will help them develop these skills further whilst expanding their knowledge in an International environment.

Essential Skills
Account Management experience gained through delivery of key objectives is desirable but exceptional candidates without this can be trained
A commercial approach always taking into account both Client and Seymour's business models
Excellent inter-personal skills, able to communicate, negotiate, persuade and build relationships at all levels
Highly accountable and able to make the right decisions under pressure
Advanced presentation skills
Self-motivated and willing to challenge the status quo if there is a better way
Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail
Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Additional Information
This is an office-based role, as such we are willing to discuss a wide range of flexible working options (including part-time) although we do expect that you cover core business hours of 10am - 4pm. As a company we embrace hybrid working, so working from home as part of your working week is normal as long as you are available in the office as required by the business. At the moment we ask office based roles to work a minimum of 8 days in the office over a four week period, including being in the office every Wednesday for the company-wide office day.
