We are working with a civil engineering client with a strong regional presence in South Wales. Due to securing several new schemes with immediate starts, they have an opportunity for a Site Agent to join their growing team.
The initial scheme is a £1.5M deep drainage project, delivered over a 30-week programme, part of a highways scheme.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of successful project delivery within groundworks and drainage, with experience in programming works, stakeholder engagement, site administration, managing health, safety, quality, and reporting to a roaming operations manager.

Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining all tasks, timelines, and dependencies.
- Allocate resources efficiently, considering the skills and availability of your team members.
- Set clear objectives and milestones for each phase of the project.
Team Leadership and Communication:
- Provide strong leadership to your team, inspiring motivation and maintaining morale.
- Foster open communication channels to ensure everyone is informed of their responsibilities and any changes to the project.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, address challenges, and brainstorm solutions.
Resource Management:
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Monitor resource usage and manage budgetary constraints effectively
- Anticipate and resolve any resource conflicts or shortages promptly.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that work meets industry standards and client expectations
