Supply Chain Manager Tiptree, Essex £42,000 - £50,000 per annum Permanent ARM have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager to join a UK Based manufacturer on a permanent basis. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Stock and Inventory Department within the business The Role: Ensure effective and efficient processes are in place by driving continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and set effective minimum stock levels, in line with production needs. Efficient stock turnover in line with budgeted targets (Inventory turnover ratio). Ensure stock rotation is maintained for production minimising the presence of slow moving or obsolete materials. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring any delays to deliveries are communicated through the supply chain. Ensure compliance and best practice in all areas of responsibilities. Responsible for stock reconciliations and stock-taking process. Support the return's function ensuring all returns are processed and stock control maintained.Requirements: Designed and implemented processes and procedures. Must come form a manufacturing background Lean principles and their application within a manufacturing sector. Experience of developing a department for additional business needs. Outstanding organisational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
