We are looking to recruit on behalf of our client a full time Chef De Partie to work in a very prestigious school in Buckinghamshire. The hours for this chef de partie role are in 3 shift patterns, 6am to 2pm, 1130am to 730pm and very occasional split shifts 6am to 2pm then 4pm to 730pm.This Chef De partie role is a 40 hour week role spread 5 days out of 7 and for the full 52 weeks of the year.The school caters for (Apply online only) meals per service so you will be expected to be very experienced for this role and hold a current enhanced DBS

Key Responsibilities
Provide assistance with food production and service
Comply with all statutory, legislative and departmental requirements

Key Tasks
Prep and cook an array of dishes to a high standard as required for events, weddings, school banquets and day to day school meals
Be present during service monitoring food levels and co-ordinating with the kitchen
Work collectively with team members taking responsibility in the absence of Head or Sous Chef during service
Ensure all aspects of the Food Safety and Allergens Acts are adhered to
Ensure food service team are aware of allergens at all times
Maintain required standards of personal and professional hygiene
Place food orders as required
Ensure all deliveries are checked were necessary
Adhere to Health & Safety legislation reporting any concerns and/or incidents to Head Chef
Offer guidance and training to junior team members and work as a team player at all times

You will need to have formal qualifications such as C&G 1/2 or NVQ 1/2. Have flexibility on shift patterns, and solid experience in the kitchen with volume catering
