We are the industry leader in aviation analytics – data that helps understand the past, inform the present, and predict the future of everything related to the tens of thousands of aircraft flying around the globe. At Cirium, we have over 300 terabytes of aviation data from more than 2,000 data sources. We must constantly innovate to drive new ways of using this massive & valuable data set to drive transformative behaviours across the industry.


About the Team: As a Product Manager at Cirium, you'll be at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and user centric design. You'll be a key part of the team shaping a greenfield opportunity combining AI powered innovation with an exceptional user experience to deliver assisted analytics to our customers.


About the role: Your key responsibilities will be driving product discovery and user research, translating customer insights into product decisions, product design, prioritizing features, and driving the product roadmap. You'll work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality UI solutions. We are looking for a driven, innovative Product Manager with a background in User Experience who is passionate about solving problems, both for our business and customers.   • This is not your first product role. You have years of experience in product management and/or user experience. You have a proven track record of working on usability, value and viability of solutions, preferably with technology powered products. You're passionate about the potential of AI and can envision innovative ways to make complex interactions intuitive and user-friendly.
  • You have solved complex problems. You are skilled in breaking down large complex issues into simpler elements that can be effectively addressed.? You are energized by complex issues and problems that require solutions, using sound judgement to assess risks and make informed decisions.
  • You have driven new products to launch. You have demonstrated an understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and delivery. You understand what it means to fail fast and innovate.
  • You have ample analytics skills. While you may or may not know how to code, you have the technical know-how to support yourself and your team. You understand the possibilities and constraints of technology in product development. You understand design patterns and can create functional specs, visual interface designs and wireframes.
  • You can adapt with ease. You're comfortable with ambiguity and can navigate the challenges of a fast-paced product environment. You thrive in ambiguous environments where AI technology and UX best practices are rapidly evolving. You can pivot strategies based on user feedback and technological advancements.
  • You can drive collaboration. You thrive in cross-functional environments and can build strong relationships with engineering, and business teams. You're a team player who can influence without authority. You have a proven track record of delivering meaningful results for the business through collaboration with your team
  • You are adept at making data driven decisions. By using both quantitative and qualitative data analysis to uncover opportunities and understand what levers to pull to drive business results. You know how to measure the results of your work, test it with stakeholders, and understand its downstream effects.
  • You keep up with industry developments. By participating in webinars, engaging with subject matter experts and travel occasionally to meet with customers and attend conferences.


Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our UI product
  • Translating product requirements into tangible designs and work with engineering teams to deliver high quality products
  • Developing and implement usability testing strategies for product interfaces
  • Empowering and set direction for cross functional team(s) on short-term tasks/near-term priorities.
  • Developing and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for your product area
  • Working closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product launches
  • Conducting user research and analyze market trends to inform product decisions
  • Gathering and incorporating user feedback to improve the product


Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in a technical or related field is desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Significant experience in a mixture of product roles and interface development roles, preferably with technology powered products
  • Proven track record of shipping successful products or features
  • Strong experience with Figma or other UI design / prototyping tools
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices
  • A strong understanding of agile software development methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Kanban is desirable
  • A sound understanding of the Aviation industry
