Our client has established itself as a well-regarded refurbishment contractor providing building maintenance services within the public sector, for 80 years, predominantly to local authority housing associations. Working as a close-knit team, the organization has successfully proven its ability to be a serious competitor in the construction industry. We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Customer Support Representative to join one of our bustling project teams, working in and around Adur, Worthing, and Chichester. You will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication with residents of diverse backgrounds during construction and maintenance projects. Main Duties: * Prepare correspondence addressing issues such as access, delays, changes/additions to works, and resolving resident concerns. * Handle residents' complaints and issues through email, phone, or home visits. * Collect Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) upon work completion and log the results. * Arrange appointments for workers and subcontractors where necessary. * Build strong relationships with residents to ensure satisfaction and smooth project execution. * Participate in team meetings to discuss planned construction activities, ensuring targets and client specifications are met. Essential Skills/Knowledge: * Full UK Driving License. * Strong face-to-face customer service experience. * Confident and calm communicator within a face-to-face environment. * Strong time management and organizational abilities. * Flexible to accommodate the needs of the residents. * Able to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. * Basic IT knowledge. Package: * Salary: £24,000 to £30,000 per annum. * Company Car + Fuel Card. * 21 days of holiday + bank holidays and Christmas closure. * Birthday day off. * Company pension. * Healthcare/Life Insurance. * Company-branded uniform, PPE, work phone, iPad. * Company events and discount portal. Additional Information: * A DBS check will be carried out on your behalf at the company's expense. * You must be eligible to work in the UK. * Six-month probationary period. * As part of the interview process, you will be required to complete an aptitude test. Working Hours: * Monday to Friday * 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1 hour for lunch). * 40 hours per week
