Field Services Engineer

Company Now established in the UK for more than three decades, Vertec Scientific has earned an exceptional reputation for supplying and supporting a wide range of high-quality health technology products, accessories and consumables from across the world, including Bone Densitometry, X-Ray Image Intensifiers and Radiotherapy products.   The portfolio is supported by qualified Applications Specialists, Product Specialists and Service Engineers.   We have a vacancy for an experienced field-based Service Engineer to join our team supporting customers throughout the UK.   Role Applications are invited from suitably experienced Service Engineers to join our team. The position focusses on servicing bone densitometry and x-ray based equipment, therefore knowledge of relevant systems in the medical environment would be a distinct advantage.   Full training will be given to the right person and will cover both PM and reactive call-outs.   Salary for this position is negotiable according to experience.   Skills/ Experience Required Candidates must have 3 to 4 years Field Service Engineering and Installation experience, preferably within a medical products supporting environment.   You will need to be computer literate with an ability to understand technical data and keep up to date with such technology. Formal qualifications in electronics an advantage You must be able to manage your own time and determine priorities, with a customer-centric approach to everything you do.   A full driving licence is essential.   All enquiries will be treated with the strictest of confidence.
