Senior Fund Accountant - Real Estate (12 month FTC)

A UK-based Real Estate Fund is looking to appoint a Senior Fund Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.The firm is open to various backgrounds for this role and is seeking a qualified accountant with approximately 1-4 years of post-qualification experience. They are looking for someone with excellent accounts preparation and reporting experience, which could be from industry (preferably financial services) or from a mid-tier accountancy practice.There will be a handover period with the current incumbent, and the start date must be no later than early October, so candidates must be readily available.Key areas of responsibility include:Financial statement preparation for the funds and SPVsPreparation of investor reportingManagement of external advisors for the fundsSupport with the seasonal auditCashflow management and monitoring for the SPVsDebt compliance reportingThe compensation on offer is circa £75,000-£85,000 plus a completion bonus.
