My client is looking for a Consultant/ Project Manager with a combination of skills and responsibilities in strategic IT Benchmarking and business consulting. Strategic IT and Business Consulting : Consultants are expected to provide expert advice to CIOs, CFOs, and controllers on strategic IT Benchmarking and business issues. Project Delivery : Consultants are responsible for delivering projects across IT benchmarking and IT sourcing advisory landscapes. This includes working closely with subject matter experts and ensuring project success within the defined scope, timeline, and budget. Expertise in IT : Consultants need to possess a strong understanding of IT environments, including common technical architectures and systems. Trusted Advisor : Consultants play a crucial role as trusted advisors to customers, building long-term relationships based on trust and reliability. They provide guidance and support to clients, helping them make informed decisions that align with their business goals. Team Collaboration : The consultant role involves working closely with the wider team, collaborating on projects and sharing expertise. While consultants have responsibility for their own project delivery, they also contribute to the success of the team as a whole. Flexibility and Travel : The role is primarily home-based, but consultants should be prepared for occasional travel within Europe for face-to-face meetings with clients and colleagues. Flexibility is essential in managing multiple projects across different locations. Experience with IT benchmarking, IT sourcing, IT finance, productivity, quality, and IT contract management are valuable attributes for consultants.
