Workplace Project Manager Southwark Contract £345.86 per day PAYE or £450 per day Limited paid via Umbrella Company Inside IR35 Our client is looking for an experienced Workplace Project Manager. To support and manage the delivery of projects in support of the Council’s short, medium and long-term accommodation plans, including the rationalisation and modernisation of the 199 operational building portfolio. Work with and direct cross functional project teams, facilities managers, staff and external contractors to deliver cost effective, sustainable and compliant projects across the council’s property portfolio and provide post project performance reviews. To aid the development of future accommodation plans and workplace configuration in line with the council new ways of working methodologies. Educated to degree level (or equivalent) and / or evidence of ongoing professional development in Project Management such as MSP, Prince 2, Agile, Waterfall etc., and a NEBOSH Qualification in Health and Safety or equivalent. Basic knowledge of key compliance disciplines i.e. Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006, The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, ACoP L8, Health & Safety good practices etc. Understanding of budget management, including capital and revenue investment programmes especially in support of third party project delivery. Knowledge of Prince 2 methodologies (or be willing to undertake further Prince 2 training), report writing, change management, and building related occupation methodologies including the interpretation of complex data. Experience in developing client relationships in a large multi-site blue chip or government organisation, and delivering projects in a diverse and challenging multifaceted environment. Experience of influencing and working within a complex network and interacting at senior level with the Chief Executive, Cabinet Members, elected officials, directors, partners, stakeholders and operating in a political environment in relation to implementing change management projects. Track record of being able to translate strategic vision into deliverable plans, supporting change Significant experience of overseeing and reporting on project related spend The first part of our recruitment process is to send your CV.
