Position: Network Rail Project Manager Location: Birmingham Reporting to: Senior Project Manager Job Overview Red Sky Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a global Tier 1 company for a Network Rail Project Manager to manage all NR-related packages on a major project in Birmingham. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing key parts of the project that interface with Network Rail, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery from start to finish. You'll work closely with both the Network Rail team and the project construction teams to ensure that all rail-related activities are well planned, managed, and executed on time. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with Network Rail's operations team and key stakeholders. Manage important project elements like Park Street Bridge and Green Road activities, ensuring alignment with the overall project plan. Lead the preparation and submission of work package plans, Forms C, H/G, and other Network Rail documentation. Chair weekly coordination meetings between Network Rail and the project team, ensuring all operational needs are integrated into the planning process. Manage rail possessions, including planning and booking. Ensure that rail operations are fully considered in all project plans. Act as the primary contact for any emergency incidents related to Network Rail operations. Oversee inspections of Network Rail assets and ensure any required work is carried out to the highest standards. Maintain a register of all commitments to Network Rail and ensure compliance. Coordinate deliveries to the site by rail and arrange rail windows with Network Rail. Implement necessary safety measures to protect Network Rail assets. What We're Looking For Strong knowledge of Network Rail operations and construction project planning. Experience managing Network Rail projects and working on major construction projects. Excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Relevant qualifications such as a degree, HNC, or equivalent in a related field. Why Join Us?
