• £42,000 – £52,500 + excellent bens.

As a part of our dynamic team, you will work on all operating platforms, reviewing design enhancements, although predominantly Aerospace projects; we offer a unique opportunity to get involved in the early stages of transformative projects and the air capability of the future.

What you’ll be doing: Software Verification Engineer

• Project assurance activities for Software, in the early lifecycle phases
• Perform critical reviews of the design information at the agreed lifecycle points providing constructive comments to ensure the design is compliant with applicable regulations and standards
• Identify and ensure progress to resolution any concerns raised in the critical review
• Produce independent professional assessment at the appropriate certification points to support the Independent Safety Authority & Chief Airworthiness Engineer approvals
• Support the project teams, support and service engineering organisations with the generation of risk assessments, ensuring suitable justification exist for action and the adequacy of the proposed remedial/recovery action

Essential: Software Verification Engineer

• A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent engineering experience
• Experience of Safety Critical Software development and associated design standards
• Experience in critically reviewing design information and providing feedback in a clear and constructive technical language
• Ability to collaborate, adapt, network and think creatively

Desirable: Software Verification Engineer

• Familiarity with safety standards such as Mil Std 882, ARP4761A
• Working knowledge of RTCA DO-178/EUROCAE ED-82 Design Assurance Guidance
