Accelerate Teaching has an exciting opportunity for a Year 5 Teacher to join one of our client primary schools in the Garforth. We are currently seeking an experienced KS2, Year 5 Primary Teacher to fill a full-time position at an Ofsted-rated 'Good' Primary School starting this September. The role will continue until the Christmas break. Role Responsibilities: As a Year 5 Primary Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the academic and personal development of students within this school. Your responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across the KS2 curriculum. Creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth. Employing effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment. Assessing student progress and implementing targeted interventions to support individual learning needs. Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to ensure the holistic development of each student.To excel in this role as a teacher, you should have: Substantial experience in primary education, with a focus on teaching in and across KS2. A proven track record of raising attainment and facilitating the academic success of students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners. Adaptability, resilience, and a growth mindset, enabling you to thrive in a dynamic educational setting.
