Warehouse and Office OperationsBATCAM has an exciting opportunity to become a key part of our busy team.BATCAM is looking to fill the role in Warehouse and Office Operations. We are looking for an enthusiastic, thorough, positive thinker, self starter, organised problem solver, open minded to learn many new skills. If you are reading this and are confident at least 50% of the above applies then we want to hear from you.Who are we?BATCAM is the UK leader in live aerials from our BATCAM UAV systems known to some, (but not us) as drones. We work weekly on large scale events, from Premier League to Champions League football to Horse Racing, Cricket, Rugby, Athletics, plus regular non-live shoots for commercials & dramas. We also work on huge overseas projects such as International football tournaments and other major international sporting events. We regularly work with blue-chip clients such as BT Sport, Sky, BBC, Amazon, DAZN and ITV. As well as our aerial systems we have a suite of specialist cameras including hand-held, wire and rail camera systems. We have multiple gimbals, from SHOTOVER, Extreme Cameras, Movi Pro’s and DJI Ronin.What are we looking for?The applicant will be an important part of the day to day operations of the company. Reporting to the Head of Production & CTO, you will be ultimately responsible to manage the incoming and outgoing equipment to events as well as the implementation of scheduling software for coordinating kit movement, repairs and maintenance. As well as managing and organising a team of prep technicians. You will be responsible in managing our resources software as well as organising equipment carnet for shipping to international events. The job requires past experience working with broadcast/camera equipment as well as an ability and openness to learn new skills. For example past experience in a kit house or hire company would be ideal. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and integrate into our systems already in place as well as bringing new ideas to the table. The candidate should be able to learn fast and think on their feet in a fast moving and changing industry. Someone who pursues the best possible quality and can always find fault in their work. Depending on the applicants experience, there may be an opportunity to split the role between working on our live events as well as the office based position.Above all, we are looking for positive people who have a 'can do' attitude.Need to have skills:Able to attend the BATCAM office in Epping, Essex, 5 days a weekPast experience of equipment scheduling software (we currently use Current RMS)Technology proficientAttention to detailKnowledge of cameras, connectors and gimbalsWork EthicFull driving licenseNice to have skills:TV/Broadcast knowledgeDrone knowledge/experienceGoogle apps suite experienceKnowledge of ‘Current RMS’ scheduling softwareRole:Full timeSalary dependant on applicant
