Experienced Setting Out Engineer is required for a number of projects in Tyne and Wear. This role will be responsible for site surveying and setting out the positions of buildings and internal roads, ensuring all construction work is carried out in accordance with the building plans, specifications, and construction regulations. You will utilise specialised equipment such as total stations, GPS, and laser levelling systems to measure distances and angles accurately. Your key duties include interpreting construction drawings, conducting regular site surveys, calculating site coordinates, and maintaining accurate records of all site data.
This is a freelance role expected to last for the next 9 months, working between two main projects.
