Toolmaker - Injection Moulding

A manufacturer of components sold into globally recognised blue chip companies is now seeking an Injection Moulding Toolmaker to join their tool room. As their already enviable portfolio continues to grow, it is now more important than ever to ensure that their tool room can cope with the increase, whilst maintaining their high quality and service levels. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for ensuring tools are ready and available for production, through speedy repairs and preventative maintenance procedures. ***Up to £41,000, Days Monday - Friday*** As a Toolmaker, your duties will include: Maintenance, repair and modification of plastic injection mould tools Repair of hot runner systems Use of conventional toolroom machinery Identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutionsTo be successful in the role of Toolmaker, the ideal candidate will: Be a time-served Toolmaker with experience of working on plastic injection mould tools Have excellent experience of conventional machining (grinding, milling, turning, etc) Have worked with hot-runner systems If you feel you have the skills and experience needed for this opportunity, then click the link to apply!
