Senior Paid Search Manager

MRG is delighted to be working in partnership with one of our financial services clients in Glasgow, who is looking to recruit a Senior Paid Search Manager to join their growing marketing team. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-impact digital advertising strategies, whilst managing large budgets and be instrumental in shaping the digital strategy moving forward. The main areas of focus for this role will be:

• The chance to develop and implement market leading digital ad strategies across Google Ads (Search, Display & Video).
• The ability to own and track budgets to ensure cost-effective ad spend is maintained to drive ROI across the client base.
• Take responsibility for performance metrics, alongside GA4 and CRM data to continuously optimise campaigns.
• Have the experience and confidence to strategise, implement, meticulously manage, and deliver results for multiple paid search accounts across the client base.

The key experience we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in Paid Search, with a proven track record of success.
• A media planning and optimisation specialist – taking responsibility for the end to end process.
• Hands-on with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads (a plus!), DV360, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics 4.
• Project management expertise – managing multiple campaigns is second nature.
• In-depth data analysis and insight experience, especially across campaign optimisation.
• Experience setting up conversion tracking with Google Tag Manager and reporting through GA4.
• Familiarity with CRM solutions for lead tracking and quality assurance.
• Proficiency in competitor research tools, especially across SemRush and SpyFu.
• Finally, exposure to Salesforce would be highly desirable!

Salary for this position is dependent on experience, but in the region of £60,000 base, plus extensive package. This is also a hybrid role, with good flexibility around being in the Central Glasgow offices, which have been fully renovated to an incredible standard! (an amazing place to collaborate with colleagues!)
