We are seeking an exceptional Director of Revenue to join the Maybourne Corporate Office Revenue Management team.

Main Duties & Responsibilities


The Director of Revenue is responsible for maximizing revenue and profits, minimizing costs and maintaining superior quality customer service across room, restaurant and spa reservations, through all contact methods for one of Maybourne's London hotels.


Main responsibilities of the Director of Revenue role include but are not limited to:


  • Provides revenue management functional expertise and leadership to general managers, property leadership teams and market sales leaders.
  • Pricing and positioning across all distribution channels, proactive analysis and decision-making and promoting a 'revenue management' culture.
  • Oversees the processes associated with: demand, revenue, budgeting, forecasting and opportunity analysis (to include seasonality, competitive analysis and positioning, market share and displacement) and inventory management.
  • Determines and is accountable for, the Hotel's sales strategy and pricing for transient and group, ensuring both are effectively implemented.
  • Identifies future opportunities and effectively communicates strategies to relevant areas in the Hotel and the Corporate Office.
  • Responsible for overseeing the management of the Reservations Sales Office, providing leadership, development and communication of pertinent company and departmental information.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining good relationships with suppliers, travel partners and all other key stakeholders.

Successful candidates for our Director of Revenue opportunity will:


  • Proven experience in revenue management.
  • Experience within the luxury hotel industry would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in managing various distribution channels, including online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS), and the hotel's own booking engine.
  • A good understanding of the luxury hospitality market, including knowledge of competitors, customer behaviour, and industry trends.
  • Effective communication skills are vital for coordinating with different departments such as Sales, Marketing and Operations.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and solving distribution-related issues like rate parity discrepancies.
  • Familiarity with Opera Cloud, Oracle R&A, Salesforce, OTA platforms, Cendyn and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives.
  • Have strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Be a team player who is an avid learner, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Have a high standard of personal presentation with confident, professional and welcoming personality.
