I’m currently working with a well-established Healthcare business who are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join their growing team in Central London. The company have been going for over 10 years now and work with many of the largest private healthcare companies in the UK and globally.

The business provide healthcare management tools to companies which help manage efficiency, productivity and internal processes for their core areas and their product suite has grown rapidly over the last 5 years resulting in funding used to grow the team.

They are looking for a Lead Software Engineer who can come in and work alongside the development team whilst providing support and guidance from a technical standpoint. You will report to the CTO and be responsible for 6-7 developers, take part in code reviews and be the beacon of support.

This role requires office working of twice a week in their Central London offices.

Technical Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within Software Development.
• Fully confident with all aspects of the SDLC and Microsoft Tech Stack.
• Have at least 1 year experience leading a team of at least 3 developers.
• Have ambitions to grow and lead larger teams in the future.
• Happy with a rough split of 70% leading, 30% coding.
• Essential Skills: C#, .Net Core, Web APIs, Microservices, SQL, Azure.
• Desirable Skills: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Docker, Node.
• Good communicator and can manage multiple projects.
• Natural leader who loves coaching and elevating standards.
• Experience within Healthcare would be beneficiary, but in no means essential.
• Happy supporting the technical vision of the team.

Salary/Benefits

• £85,000-£95,000
