About the role: We are on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (TA) specialising in English as an Additional Language (EAL) to join our friendly team. This part-time role is perfect for someone who has a genuine interest in supporting children to overcome language barriers and reach their full potential. As a TA focused on EAL, you will be playing a vital role in ensuring that every student feels confident, understood, and included in their learning journey. Application Requirements:• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within Key Stage 2.• A strong understanding of EAL strategies and techniques.• A passion for education and helping children with diverse needs.• Excellent communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach. Key Responsibilities:• Provide targeted support to students with English as an Additional Language, helping them develop their language skills across all subjects.• Assist in planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons and interventions.• Monitor and track students' progress, offering feedback and encouragement to ensure they reach their potential.• Collaborate closely with class teachers, SEN coordinators, and other TAs to create a supportive learning environment.
