Shift Production Engineer

Our Client is a very successful pharmaceutical manufacturing company. They are now seeking a Shift Production Engineer. This position is a full-time permanent role based in Great Yarmouth. Job PurposeDue to continued successful development, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Shift Production Engineer to join our Client Our Client is a continuously expanding, fully integrated company, comprising research, development, manufacture, marketing and distribution activitiesWorking in a clean manufacturing environment where the highest quality standards are observed, you will work as part of the Engineering team to ensure production plan adherence.This position will be hands on, working a two-shift pattern: Week one: Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm and Friday 6am to 1pm / Week two: Monday to Thursday 1.45pm to 10pm and Friday 12.45pm to 6.45pmKey ResponsibilitiesCarrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all equipment as per the maintenance scheduleResponding to breakdowns on production equipmentResponding to production line running issuesProviding continuous improvement ideas and solutions for production processesWorking as part of a team to improve the maintenance process and proceduresAssisting with filling and packaging equipment set-up/changeovers when necessaryEnsuring all auditable paperwork is completed correctlyEnsuring adherence to weekly production plansQualifications / ExperienceNVQ (or equivalent) in Electrical/Mechanical disciplineElectrical/Mechanical Engineering experienceAbility to work safely and in a controlled mannerExperience in an FMCG or pharmaceutical environment working with packaging and manufacturing equipmentAbility to follow instructions with accuracyExperience of mechanical engineering, filling and packaging equipmentCompetent computer user with experience of Microsoft software packagesDetermination to provide a high degree of customer service to the production teamsSelf-motivated with a proactive can do attitudeTeam focused and a good communicatorIn return our client is offering a competitive basic salary, 20% shift premium and a benefits package for the successful CandidatePlease send your C.V to Lorraine Roger, Director at Atom Recruitment Ltd.JBRP1_UKTJ
