Fit Out Senior Estimator - High End Specialist Fit Out Contractor - Fully Remote! Company: Currently our client is seeking a senior estimator who has previous experience in fit out/new build/refurbishment or joinery projects. They mainly carry out works on high end residential or leisure projects such as hotels, apartments, and restaurants. This contractor have gained a very prestigious name in the construction industry (specifically in the fit out world). They have over 30 years trading history and have worked alongside some of the best developers/main contractors who regularly repeat purchase. Requirements: * You must have previous experience in estimating within the fit out sector * A proven track record in an estimating role with full responsibility for the bidding process from enquiry stage to final submission * Extensive knowledge of general building works including new build, refurbishment and fit-out * The ability to work from ‘first principles’ * Extensive knowledge of what influences/impacts on estimating, estimating strategies, building methodologies and techniques, and the use of appropriate contracts and the affect they have on the tender requirements * Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines * Excellent communication skills * Excellent commercial acumen * Good IT skills and a working knowledge of integrated computerised estimating and valuation systems. * A 3rd level qualification in a Building/Construction, Engineering or Quantity Surveying related subject (highly desirable but not essential) * RICS / CIOB membership would be an advantage (highly desirable but not essential) Salary: You will be offered a competitive salary (which is negotiable based on previous experience and qualifications along with the following: * 30 holidays per annum * Pension * Healthcare * Length of service awards * Employee wellness programme * Working from home scheme * Personal and professional development Fit Out Senior Estimator - High End Specialist Fit Out Contractor - Fully Remote!
