Your new company I have partnered with an international company which is fast-paced and growing, specialising in manufacturing, and distributing luxury fragrances and cosmetics. They hold a fantastic and reputable portfolio, with offices in the UK, USA, Switzerland, France and Italy.Your new role They are seeking a Consumer Marketing Manager with an emphasis on trade marketing to join the dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for driving the growth of the brand portfolio through strategic consumer marketing initiatives while supporting retail and trade partners to maximise product visibility and sales. You will work closely with internal teams, retailers, and distributors to develop integrated marketing campaigns that resonate with the target audience.- Develop and Execute Consumer Campaigns: Design and implement 360° marketing strategies across digital, social, and traditional media to drive brand awareness and engagement.- Brand Storytelling: Communicate the company's mission and values to consumers through compelling, authentic, and meaningful content.- Help define what the consumer journey should look like, combining all communication and distribution channels, defining the advertising and distribution mix for the upcoming year and working closely with the Sales and Visual Merchandising teams on innovation and continuous improvement of in-store consumer experience & execution- Define the launch and promotional calendar across all channels, working closely with sales team- Guide and manage the local PR agency- New Product Launches: Plan and execute consumer launch strategies for new products, including digital activations, PR, events, and sampling programs.- Sustainability Messaging: Ensure that the company’s sustainability and ethical practices are woven into all consumer-facing communications.- Retailer Collaboration: Develop trade marketing plans with retail partners to enhance in-store product visibility, drive traffic, and increase sales performance.- Promotional Support: Create promotional strategies and campaigns tailored to the retail environment, including in-store activations, displays, and point-of-sale materials.- Sales Enablement Tools: Provide the sales team with trade materials such as sell sheets, product information guides, and presentation decks to support sell-in efforts.- Retailer-Specific Campaigns: Partner with retailers to execute joint marketing initiatives, co-branded events, and special promotions to drive consumer awareness in key accounts.- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the effectiveness of trade promotions and marketing initiatives, adjusting tactics as needed to maximize ROI.What you'll need to succeed - Degree or equivalent working experience in Business and/or Marketing-related disciplines- Innovative and willing to experiment with new concepts and approaches. Comes up with creative solutions to difficult problems. Positive working attitude with strong analytical and quick problem solving skills- Experience in project planning, retail marketing execution, and budget management- Ability to prepare & deliver presentations, including to senior management- Experience and track record in cosmetics and/or retail industry a definite advantage- Strong understanding of retail environment and consumer shopping behaviours- Excellent data analytics - Working knowledge of computer systems including: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
