More about the role


The Senior Account Executive role is suitable for someone seeking a new challenge within the automotive sector or looking to take the next step on the career ladder. It requires a strong ability to drive the day-to-day management of client activities and plans, with the support of the Account Director and Senior Account Manager.


This is a core role within the Performance team so we’re looking for a safe pair of hands with previous experience of the industry and, specifically, for planning and executing communications activities and events. The successful candidate will be a key contact for clients and will enthusiastically take on the day-to-day requirements of working within a team across a busy roster of accounts.


You will need show initiative in pulling together often challenging event logistics, be meticulous in adhering to processes, to ensure the smooth running of accounts, and be a stickler for budgets, to keep finances on track.


The agency has a reputation for nurturing and developing talent and prides itself on being at the forefront of modern communications. The role of SAE is pivotal within the Automotive teams at Performance, operating as key contact for an exciting group of clients, they will help ensure that all accounts are managed efficiently and effectively.




What you’ll need (required skills)


  • A strong communicator who can upwards manage as well as prioritise their own work and the team supporting them
  • Strong writing skills with excellent attention to detail
  • A logical and clear thinker with a strong attention to detail and deadlines
  • An ability to juggle conflicting priorities and plan and prioritise their own work
  • Get the basics right – be passionate about good, simple and effective PR/comms with a strong eye for an editorial angle
  • A desire to challenge and be challenged
  • An appetite for progression and ability to utilise constructive feedback from senior members of the team
  • Quick learner, adaptable and pragmatic thinker, while being tenacious, results driven and resilient
  • Show initiative and conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times
  • A team player with the gravitas to sometimes deal with senior stakeholders
  • Experience with aviation brands would be desirable
