Sales Account Manager - Ingredients B2B Alexander Steele is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer of milled & cereal products. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team in the UK as a Sales Manager - reporting directly into the Sales Director. This role will focus on maintaining & winning business with B2B manufacturing accounts ranging from small SME's to larger blue chip organisations. This position plays a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with existing UK customers while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across our portfolio of food ingredients within the region. Responsibilities: Identify and secure new oat milling business opportunities, including potential customers, partnerships, and distribution channels. Identify and secure new ingredients business opportunities across all product lines in oat milling and malting. Act as primary contact for major accounts, maintain strong relationships, address needs, resolve issues to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell oat milling and malt ingredients products. Assist in development and implementation of the sales strategy to the assigned market, aiming to achieve budgeted sales and growth targets. Track and analyse sales performance metrics, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and make data- driven decisions within the assigned market. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management, provide insights and recommendations specific to the assigned market. Liaise with customers and product innovation team on new product development. Develop proposals and presentations tailored to the assigned market. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Degree in business, marketing, food science or related field. Minimum 5 years progressive sales and account management experience. A valid driver’s license is required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrated experience in the food processing industry and commodity markets specific to the assigned market. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated presentation and negotiation skills. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service, capable of developing and maintaining strong customer relationships. Self-motivated, results oriented with demonstrated ability to achieve targets and drive revenue growth. High level business acumen, with the ability to understand and navigate complex business environments. Fluent in English, both oral and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Valid passport with the ability to travel within the UK, EU, and international markets.
