Arc School Old Arley are looking for a part time SEN Food Tech Teacher for two days per week (days are negotiable).

You will be working with small groups of children who have special educational needs, including social, emotional and mental health needs, autism spectrum conditions, ADHD, and AD. You will support and inspire the children to develop their confidence and capability through creating engaging food tech lessons appropriate to their needs as set out on their educational and health care plans. You will be supported by a dedicated and passionate team of professional colleagues who are all committed to safeguarding the wellbeing of the children and supporting them to achieve their full potential.

Our ideal candidate will be:

* a qualified and experienced teacher (QTS/QTLS)

* familiar with working with children who have special educational needs either in a mainstream or special education setting

* committed to safeguarding and supporting children to achieve their full potential

* happy to work as part of a job share arrangement alongside another Food Tech Teacher

Arc School Old Arley, part of Kedleston Group, is an independent specialist day school near Nuneaton, for children and young people aged between the ages of 7 and 16. We provide a safe learning environment for children and young people with a wide range of varying needs including social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), autism (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and attachment difficulties (AD).

The successful candidate is required to provide references and will be expected to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
