Job Title: Freelance Account Director

Client Location: West London (Mon, Tues, Thurs onsite per week)

Starting: 28th October 2024

Salary/Pay Rate: £360 per day (Umbrella)

Hours: Full-time

Duration: 3-month initial booking


Aquent is working with our entertainment client to find a talented and experienced Account Director to join their talent pool and work on some of their most exciting campaigns for products. As Account Director at their creative in-house agency, you’ll be responsible for planning and implementing advertising and communications campaigns. You’ll balance the demands of operational detail with simplicity of communication as well as influencing senior partners across the organisation to lead campaigns from brief to delivery.


There is a 3-month initial booking scheduled to start ASAP. You will also be onboarded onto our client’s talent pool for 9 months. Our client operates on a hybrid model where you will be required to work from their West London campus 3 days a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Wednesdays and Fridays can be worked remotely from home. The role offers a rate of up to £360 per day which will have to be through an FSCA Umbrella company from our PSL.


What you'll do:

  • Own end-to-end ownership of 360 (integrated) campaigns from brief through to delivery, driving the project forward with excellent project management skills
  • Partner with internal teams such as production, marketing and strategy as well as media agencies to get to the best and most effective work delivered on time and on budget
  • Anticipate risks and issues, proactively recommend solutions & manage up regularly and effectively
  • Distil complex creative and business ideas into simple narratives and sell them in at Head of Department level and above that help achieve business goals
  • Present in a confident manner, handle feedback effectively and negotiate in a pragmatic way when required, while driving for clear and consolidated feedback


What you'll bring:

  • Substantial Account Management experience in leading large, fully integrated creative campaigns with a consistent record of working within a high-performing team and fast-paced environment
  • Experience working on brand and direct response campaigns for famous and challenger brands in the UK or internationally
  • Passion and enthusiasm for the power of creativity to help solve business problems with an ability to input strategically on briefs and add value during the creative development process
  • Experience in aligning complex partner groups to achieve a common goal and delivering complex projects
  • Good commercial understanding and confirmed experience running projects to budget and time
  • Natural skills in building and managing relationships at a very senior level, e.g. Head of Department and above
  • Ability to present clear creative and business narratives in a concise and confident manner to senior partners, e.g. HoDs and Marketing Directors
