Our client, an independent, employee-owned information provider, is seeking an experienced Biofuels Markets Reporter to join their growing team. They offer cutting-edge price assessments, news, and data for the energy sector, covering markets such as crude oil, refined products, biofuels, and carbon. Their mission is to democratize data and contribute to the global energy transition.

About the Role:

As a Biofuels Markets Reporter, you will be responsible for:

• Assessing benchmark prices and contributing to daily price discovery.
• Producing analytical reports that explain price movements in both the short and long term.
• Filing high-quality, in-depth reports on market fundamentals such as trade flows, supply/demand, and corporate/government policies.
• Developing a network of sources to enrich the quality of reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Proven experience in energy or related commodity markets.
• Excellent content-writing skills, with the ability to file timely and precise reports.
• Deep understanding of price discovery and physical spot markets.
• Team-oriented, but able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional language is a plus.
