Team CV LTD Job Description – Brewing Operative We at Team CV LTD are seeking an experienced and proactive Brewing Operative, for our client based in the West London area. Our Client is an industrial distribution company, which will require the candidate to lift and move large items.Key info Location: West London, W3 Hours: 39 hours a week MON-THURSDAY 07:00-15:00 FRIDAY 07:00 -14: Natur rmation for Brewing Operative Candidate: e of employment: Temporary ongoing role, with some exceptional candidates securing permanent employment. Salary: £12.00 per hour. PLEASE NOTE: Successful Brewing Operative candidates who are employed permanently by the Client company shall be renumerated at a rate of £15.83 per hour, in accordance with the rate of pay for permanent staff of the Client company. Key Responsibilities for the role of Brewing Operative: The key objective of the Brewing Operative candidate is to ensure that the operations of the company run smoothly. The key responsibilities of the Brewing Operative candidate for this client are: * Site health and safety – follow site safety rules, proactively manage your own safety and that of others * Quality – work with the lab to ensure quality standards are maintained at all stages of production. * Paraflow operation – running the Paraflow, CIP of FVs, CIP of relevant equipment, yeast addition to wort, FV gravity checks. * Materials - this includes material unloading and other addition preparation and general housekeeping duties * Yeast operations – Removal of yeast from FVs, CIP of yeast vessels and routes, loading of Marmite and liquid waste tankers, FEMAS paperwork and sampling * Maturation operations – operation of Green beer centrifuges, sending product to cask racking, yeast reseeding addition, CIP of tanks, mains and relevant equipment in area. * Conditioning area – receiving beer from FV, dispatching product to packaging, loading and unloading of road tankers, operation of the filter and associated equipment, send beer to filter, CIP of tanks and mains. * Work with the engineering department to identify and rectify area breakdowns quickly * Housekeeping and hygiene duties Essential Qualities for the role of Brewing Operative: * Be able to work either as part of a team or on their own * Attention to detail * Quality focused * Safety focused * Good communication skills * IT literate on both PCs and SCADA systems * Physically fit * Previous experience of working in a brewery or FMCG production environment * Shift working We at Team CV LTD are looking forward to hearing from enthusiastic, experienced and driven Brewing Operative candidates
