Procurement Lead

JSS Search have partnered with an Acute NHS Trust to recruit a Procurement Lead within their clinical procurement team.

Procurement Lead - Clinical

Salary c. £62,000 per annum

2 days a week in the office (Thames Valley)

Role:

• Be the dedicated point of contact for all procurement and supply chain issues associated to the specific clinical subcategory
• Build & manage excellent relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted procurement advisor
• Proactively manage all spend in the allocated category, working alongside your stakeholders
• Set the category strategy, to ensure CIP targets are acknowledged and delivered
• Coordinate contract compliance across the trust

Essential requirements:

• Experience of running clinical procurement projects in the UK public sector
• Understanding of the UK Public Procurement Rules (currently PCR2015)
• Experience of direct awarding contracts against frameworks available to the NHS
• Excellent communicator, with a strong personality to engage with both stakeholders and the wider procurement team
• Analytical, detail-oriented mindset
• Self-starter
