Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant- Start date: As soon as possible. Location: Sheffield, S5. Daily pay rate: £88-98 Full time About you: Are you looking to better your skills as a Teaching Assistant or are you looking for an exciting new career change? Are you passionate about working with young children? Do you hold a level 3 in early years? PK Education are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistants wanting to work in Key Stage 1 in Sheffield. About the role: You will be working with individuals or small groups of students across Key Stage 1. You will be supporting pupils across different ages and ability levels, both on a 1:1 and in small groups. You will also support a class teacher keep pupils engaged in their learning to maximise their understanding and development. Previous experience of working with young people in a TA role is desirable. You will be a team player with patience, understanding and a willingness to develop is required. -          You will be expected to support the teaching and learning by working under the class teacher’s guidance to deliver material and interventions.   -          Implementing planned learning programmes agreed with the teacher. Understand and support independent learning. -          Working with students for whom English is not their first language. Track and monitor student targets and EHCP outcomes -          You will be expected to support the teaching and learning by working under the class teacher’s guidance to deliver material and interventions.
