SEN Teacher

Integrity Education Solutions are supporting a renowned Special Educational Needs (SEN) school based in London. They are seeking to appoint two experienced SEN Teachers on a temporary - permanent contract basis, with an immediate start (Dependent on availability). The school is dedicated to providing high quality education and support to students with diverse learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and other complex learning difficulties. Their ethos is centered on creating an inclusive, nurturing environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering tailored educational programs, have experience teaching various subject areas and to a primary education model, able to foster a supportive learning environment, and working close with multidisciplinary teams to meet the unique needs of all students. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Plan, deliver, and assess individual and group lessons designed to meet the specific needs of students with SEN. * Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other professionals. * Utilise a range of teaching strategies and resources to support diverse learning needs. * Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment. * Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and external agencies to support students’ learning and development. * Participate in professional development opportunities to stay informed about best practices in SEN education. KEY QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE 1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. 2. Experience working with children and young people with SEN, particularly those with ASD. 3. Strong understanding of SEN educational practices and legislation. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
