HGV 1 Driver

We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers to cover weekly ad-hoc work at our busy Severnside depot. The role consists of deliveries to NDCs, RDCs and trunking work. MMID is part of a well-established and well known international dairy company with a modern and well looked after fleet. Immediate starts for successful candidates upon passing assessment, interview and Induction Stage. Days to Cover: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Mondays Start Times between 2200pm - 0200am (whether its 1,2,3 or 4 shifts per week) Day pay rates: Monday – Friday £15.87 (overtime after 47.5hrs £17.85) Saturday £17.85 Sunday and Bank Holidays £23.80 Nights pay rates: Monday – Friday £18.13 (overtime after 47.5hrs £20.39) Saturday £20.39 Sunday and Bank Holidays £27.19 30-minute break deducted per shift only! What we are looking for: In date DIGI and CPC card Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual. Willing to work weekends. Motivated and open to learn new skills. Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work. Your role: Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules. Prepping vehicles for delivery. Completing vehicles checks. Refuelling vehicles.
