Experienced Production Planner

AMJ Recruitment are recruiting for one of our prestigious National Client based in Nuneaton, for an Experienced Production Planner to join their growing team. Based - Nuneaton Salary - £28000 to £37000 per annum (Dependent on Experience) Working Hours: 08:00am until 16:45pm (Monday to Thursday) 08:00am until 12:30pm (Friday) Start Date - ASAP **Candidates MUST have Production Planning experience** Job Overview: Due to continued growth an opportunity has arisen for a Production Planner to join a Production Control department reporting to the Head of Supply Chain and working alongside our Purchasing & Production departments. You will be required to produce daily and weekly production plans which the factory will follow to optimise resources and labour efficiency whilst achieving KPI levels. The successful applicant will need to understand the importance of satisfying customer service levels in all areas of the business whilst working with Expeditors to ensure that the flow of materials meets the Production Planning schedule. Key Responsibilities: • Analyse the forecasts and forecast changes for all SKU’s to ensure the plan is deliverable both from a materials and a capacity perspective. • Process and co-ordinate requests for unpredicted demand, in conjunction with existing demands on capacity and material availability. • Review and maintain safety stock level settings on internal system with efficient production plans to maintain warehouse stock levels The successful candidate will need: • Exceptional communication skills • A positive can-do attitude • Be Flexible and adaptable • Attention to detail To apply, please send your CV and a member of the AMJ Recruitment Team will be in touch to discuss next steps
