Vehicle Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join clients team in Colne. The ideal candidate will be Level 3 IMI or equivalent qualified, have experience in using hand tools, power tools, and possess mechanical knowledge to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles. Duties: Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with engines, transmissions, and brakes Perform vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs in a timely manner Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work undertaken Qualifications: Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for vehicle repairs Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Benefits: As part of a new scheme, we will be offering a sign on Fee of up to £2000 for Technicians who join us – 50% payable upon start date, 50% payable after a successful probation period 30 days holiday a year (inclusive of Bank Holidays), plus an extra day off on your birthday.
