Quality Manager

PSR are recruiting on behalf of a well-established client for a Quality Manager.

The business has a strong reputation delivering quality projects up to 150m within key sectors of the built environment.

Salary circa 70,000 plus package.

Key Responsibilities of the Quality Manager:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures for all construction projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Review and approve construction materials and workmanship to ensure they meet required standards.
• Support the operational team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective quality control.
• Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and clients, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to quality assurance, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance certificates.
• Identify areas for improvement in quality processes and work with the team to implement best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in construction quality management.

Experience of the Contracts Manager:

• Must have a strong understanding of industry standards (ISO 90001)
• Preferably hold ISO qualifications
• Preferably a degree in Construction Management or related field
• Must have an in depth knowledge of Construction processes, materials and quality standards.
• Preferably holding certification in Quality Management.
