Management Accountant

I have been retaibned by my client who is a fast growing services business based in the Manchester area. Due to a period of growth they are recruiting for a Management Accountant. This is a newly created role looking for a self starter who has confidence in their own abilities. This role reports directly to the Finance Director and offers a real opportunity to someone who is newly/recently qualified. Duties include; * Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries * Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth * Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision making * Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process * Ensure compliance with all financial regulations * Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations * Responsibility for cash flow management * Assisting the monthly/year-end Group reporting * Analysis of sales reports * Adhoc reporting when needed * Intercompany accounts to include international accounts The right candidate will; * ACCA/CIMA Qualified * Well experienced in all aspects of finance * Be a self starter * Have experience of end to end management accounts preparation * Have experience of all statutory processes * Be looking for a role that will be rewarding working in a motivated team * Have strong IT skills * Be happy looking and changing current processes In return and excellent package is offered for this role along with development and progression for the right person.
